June 1, 2022 - This month, the CWDC is offering a three-part lunch and learn series focused on the tools and resources of the Talent Equity Agenda. The training series will assist talent development network partners in adopting and implementing strategies for closing racial economic disparities in Colorado.

The CWDC and the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and Kansas City announced the launch of the Career Ladder Identifier and Financial Forecaster (CLIFF) tool, designed to help Coloradans make informed decisions about their careers. 

The Lives Empowered initiative brought retail businesses together to increase economic mobility for frontline workers across the state. Together, we upskilled 1,252 workers, launched four retail sector partnerships, and engaged 252 businesses.

The CDE, CWDC, and additional partners released a communications toolkit to support Colorado’s K-12 schools and districts in communicating about the value of earning industry credentials with students and families.

Coloradans affected by the pandemic can take advantage of significant stimulus funding to advance their careers at no cost to them thanks to funding for reskilling, upskilling, and next-skilling through HB21-1264.

The Lives Empowered Impact Report provides an overview of the Lives Empowered initiative, the initiative’s effectiveness in upskilling frontline workers, and successes and opportunities for improvement identified throughout the evaluation process.
