Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the State of Colorado is providing an opportunity for public comment on, and input into the 2024-2027 WIOA Combined State Plan.

The CWDC is offering six technical assistance (TA) modules to provide training and support to our talent development network partners.

The Colorado Workforce Development Council invites you to attend one of our Town Hall Meetings on November 8, 14 or 29, 2023, to discuss Colorado’s updated 2024-2027 Combined State Plan for implementing the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 

In recognition of the value of non-degree pathways to the workforce, the CWDC and partners released the Quality and In-demand Non-degree Credentials framework.

Employer feedback is critical to ensuring that the CDIP list is made up of quality credentials that align with employer demand. The survey is open through Oct. 17.

A recent talent finance design workshop tasked participants to explore and develop new financial models that could enable more Coloradans—like paraprofessionals—to access education and training that results in employment in high-demand sectors.

During Workforce Development Month, the CWDC is highlighting resources that workers, employers, and communities have available to them to ensure their future prosperity in the workforce of today and tomorrow.
