The CWDC will host the multi-session Colorado Talent Finance Design Workshop from April - June 2023, to be led by Trailhead Strategies and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. 

The CWDC, CDE, and the Colorado CTE collaborated with other state organizations and industry representatives to develop the “Preparing Learners for Renewable Energy Careers” resource to support the development of energy career pathway programs in secondary schools. 

The CWDC and partners have launched an updated version of the Colorado Talent Dashboard website at ColoradoTalentDashboard.com to share talent development-related data.

The annual Talent Pipeline Report, released on Dec. 13, details opportunities to better meet needs of employers, job seekers, workers, and learners.

Four new appointments and two reappointments have been made to the Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) by the Governor.

In fall of 2021, the CWDC Sector Steering Committee requested an external evaluation of Colorado’s sector strategy to ensure effectiveness as Colorado works proactively towards economic recovery and improving outcomes for employers, learners, and workers now and into the future.

The CWDC announced a $500,000 grant from Walmart in support of Colorado's Advancing Individual Ownership of Assets and Career Determination initiative.

The 2022 Talent Pipeline Report will be published on December 13. The report examines the current issues impacting talent in all parts of Colorado.

The 2022 Rocky Mountain Workforce Development Association (RMWDA) Conference took place in Vail on Oct. 17-20.

In an effort to streamline training and support offered through the CWDC to our talent development network partners, the CWDC is offering seven technical assistance (TA) modules this upcoming winter and spring.
