Colorado is emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic with plans to stabilize, accelerate, and prepare for immediate and long-term economic recovery. To support these efforts, the CWDC is excited to announce the launch of the Summer/Fall 2021 Technical Assistance Modules.

Thank you to the employers, workers, public partners, and others from across Colorado who joined us for Reenvisioning Retail 2021. We are inspired by the innovation happening within the retail industry and are excited to continue building on the conversations that took place during the convening. 

Join us on June 3-4 for a virtual convening to support the development of high-quality work-based learning experiences in K-12 environments and to learn about promising practices from across the state.

The CWDC and partners have collaborated in the launch of new remote work certificate courses for employees and supervisors.

The CWDC is excited to announce a new round of grants for active sector partnerships to support the sustainability of sector partnerships as an approach to economic recovery and industry stabilization. Applications are due by April 28.

The TalentFOUND glossary, which includes key terms related to talent development, has been updated on the CWDC website. These definitions are approved annually by the Governor's Education and Workforce Cabinet Working Group members.

Colorado was selected as one of 10 states for the National Governors Association's inaugural Workforce Innovation Network. The Colorado cohort includes partners from the CWDC, CDLE, CDHS, CDHE, and the Governor's Office.

The CWDC is providing coaching and action planning for implementing talent equity strategies for organizations in four stakeholder groups: education, workforce and economic development, community-based organizations, and business/industry.

Registration is now open for the inaugural Colorado Virtual Career Fair on April 19-22. The CWDC State Youth Council is searching for career panelists, youth attendees, parents, and educators for the event.
