Summer/Fall 2021 Technical Assistance Modules

April 29, 2021 - Colorado is emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic with plans to stabilize, accelerate, and prepare for immediate and long-term economic recovery. To support these efforts, the CWDC is excited to announce the launch of the Summer/Fall 2021 Technical Assistance Modules. The modules offered by the CWDC will provide skill and capacity building in:

  • Taking action for a more equitable Colorado economy with tools and resources for implementing strategies in the Talent Equity Agenda
  • Providing virtual service and support through My Colorado Journey 

Applications for the Summer/Fall 2021 Technical Assistance Modules are due June 7, 2021. Review the modules below and visit our Technical Assistance page for additional details, including application instructions.
 

Tools and Strategies for Moving to Action with the Talent Equity Agenda

Apply by June 7

What: Participants will learn from stakeholders who have committed to addressing racial inequities in the talent development system to inform how your organization can take the first steps in implementing strategies from the Talent Equity Agenda. Participants in this module will hear best practices and recommendations from organizations participating in the CWDC Talent Equity Communities of Practice, and receive tools for getting started in addressing racial inequities. Opportunities for discussion and action planning throughout the module will support your organization’s journey toward achieving greater racial equity and inclusion in Colorado’s economy and talent development system.

Who: All stakeholders in the talent development network are welcome to apply. Applications can be submitted for individuals or teams of 2-3.
 

My Colorado Journey: Virtual Service and Support

What: Participants will practice using My Colorado Journey to enhance existing skills in navigating career conversations with job seekers. This technical assistance opportunity will provide space for colleagues to practice using My Colorado Journey together, while also informing needed changes and improvements to the platform. Participants will deepen their skills and knowledge in using My Colorado Journey from expert presentations, opportunities to practice, and idea sharing in a supportive and engaging community of practice and learning. 

Who: All workforce center staff are welcome to apply. Teams representing a single workforce center or region are strongly encouraged.
