The CWDC is pleased to announce that Rural Reskilling, Upskilling, and Next-skilling (RUN) grants have been awarded to the Colorado Restaurant Association and Foundation, the Early Childhood Council Leadership Alliance, and the Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation.

The CWDC State Youth Council and the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council (CBHC) are offering 14 student scholarships for individuals aged 18-25 to attend the 2022 CBHC Annual Behavioral Health Training Conference. 

Online training is now available for the Career Ladder Identifier and Financial Forecaster (CLIFF) tools. Workforce center staff members and others who provide career counseling are encouraged to learn how CLIFF can be used as a strategy for assisting the workforce. 

The CWDC and its partners added career pathways in the Advanced Manufacturing industry and Transportation industry to My Colorado Journey at the end of June.

To embed innovative finance into Colorado’s talent development system, and carry out the CWDC’s vision of individual and statewide economic prosperity, the CWDC is implementing the Colorado Innovative Financing Roadmap. 

The CWDC is pleased to announce the release of “Upskilling Frontline Retail Employees: A Statewide Approach to Preparing Hospitality, Tourism, Food and Beverage Services, and Retail Employees for the Future of Work.”

June 1, 2022 - This month, the CWDC is offering a three-part lunch and learn series focused on the tools and resources of the Talent Equity Agenda. The training series will assist talent development network partners in adopting and implementing strategies for closing racial economic disparities in Colorado.

The CWDC and the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and Kansas City announced the launch of the Career Ladder Identifier and Financial Forecaster (CLIFF) tool, designed to help Coloradans make informed decisions about their careers. 

The Lives Empowered initiative brought retail businesses together to increase economic mobility for frontline workers across the state. Together, we upskilled 1,252 workers, launched four retail sector partnerships, and engaged 252 businesses.
