The Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is pleased to announce the addition of new staff members who will help strengthen the team and enhance overall operations. Three team members are stepping into new roles, reflecting their expertise, passion, and commitment to advancing workforce development in Colorado.
Ryan Gedney, Talent Pipeline Senior Analyst
Ryan Gedney serves as the talent pipeline analyst for the CWDC and the Colorado Department of Higher Education. In this shared-agency position, Ryan’s role is motivated by data creation and collection as an analytical tool for informed decision making. He supports the CWDC’s efforts to develop and sustain an industry-led talent development system through his empirical research, and analyses centered on Colorado's workforce from both demand and supply perspectives. Previously, Ryan worked in Colorado’s Labor Market Information office for 17 years in a variety of roles, bringing extensive experience in labor market analysis, and economics to this position. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado Denver and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Colorado State University.
Sigourney Williams, Administrative Assistant III
Sigourney Williams serves as the administrative assistant for the operations team at the CWDC. In this role, she supports the day-to-day logistics that keep CWDC running smoothly, managing scheduling, coordinating team operations, and providing behind-the-scenes support to ensure projects stay on track. She is passionate about creating organized, thoughtful systems that help her team focus on what matters most: serving Coloradans. Sigourney brings a background in public service and organizational support, with a strong emphasis on systems management through communication, and collaboration. She takes pride in cultivating a work environment that is both efficient and people-centered. When she’s not supporting CWDC’s mission, you can find Sigourney exploring Denver’s neighborhoods, curating playlists for silent discos, or decoding her way out of an escape room. She values joy, clarity, and compassion, ideals she brings into every aspect of her work.
Danica Pucci, Sector Partnerships, Industry Consultant
Danica serves as the industry consultant for the CWDC. In her role, she leads efforts to strengthen industry partnerships and ensure that employer perspectives remain central to workforce development across Colorado. She provides technical assistance to regional sector partnerships and supports the development of industry-informed career pathways and work-based learning opportunities that respond to statewide talent needs. Before joining CWDC, Danica worked across workforce development, economic mobility, and community partnerships, designing and implementing programs that connected underrepresented job seekers to quality employment and career pathways. She is passionate about building systems that reflect the strengths and needs of both workers and employers, and brings a practical, equity-driven approach to aligning industry, training, and education to expand opportunity across Colorado. Danica holds a bachelor’s degree from Biola University in intercultural studies and a master’s degree from Sussex University in Migration.
