The CWDC offers a variety of resources to support Colorado's talent development network. Explore the list below for more information about the types of assistance the CWDC provides.
Technical assistance is non-financial assistance provided by the CWDC office team. It can take the form of sharing information and expertise, instruction, skills training, transmission of working knowledge, and consulting services. View technical assistance opportunities.
Guides & Frameworks
Guides and frameworks are downloadable manuals, step-by-step guides, fact sheets, and other resources that assist our partners in carrying out programs within sector partnerships, work-based learning, career pathways, WIOA, and business engagement. View guides and frameworks.
Communities of Practice
Communities of practice are groups convened by the CWDC who have common interest or participation in a specific area within the talent development network. The groups collaborate regularly to share information, improve skills, and promote advancement and adoption of best practices within their area of interest. Currently the CWDC convenes the Sector Partnership Community of Practice and the Work-based Learning Lab. View communities of practice.
In order to operate from a common understanding of key terms the CWDC maintains a glossary of key terms related to talent development. These definitions are approved by the Governor's Workforce and Education Cabinet members. View the glossary.
Talent Pipeline Report
Each year the CWDC releases the annual Talent Pipeline Report, which identifies areas of growing demand and opportunity, key features of the current labor force, and strategies to balance the supply and demand equation for talent. It also highlights the Top Jobs in Colorado -- jobs with high annual openings, above average growth, and a good wage. View the Talent Pipeline Report.
