Communities of practice are groups convened by the CWDC that have a common interest or participation in a specific area within the talent development network. The groups collaborate regularly to share information, improve skills, and promote advancement and adoption of best practices within their area of interest. 2026 Sector Partnership Community of Practice Calls
Colorado Statewide Sector Partnership Community of Practice webinars are for anyone involved with sector partnerships. These webinars will include sector strategy updates, partnership profiles, and presenters addressing areas of common concern. Industry-specific community of practice webinars are for all members of sector partnerships and are organized by industry.
We strongly encourage you to review the list below of calls throughout 2026 and register for the opportunity to attend, connect, learn, and grow the Colorado talent ecosystem. If you are interested in speaking or want to recommend an industry leader as a guest speaker, please complete or share this brief form.
- Statewide Community of Practice
- Who: This is open to all active and exploring sector partnerships of all industry sectors, including: Construction, Quantum Technology, and Retail.
- What: Share promising practices and all-industry topics at the statewide level to improve on industry-shared challenges. Key topics include work-based learning, skills-based hiring, and job quality.

- Healthcare Sector Community of Practice
- Who: Colorado's four active healthcare and behavioral health sector partnerships spread across economic development regions 2, 3, 4, & 8, exploring partnerships, inclusive of conveners, supporting public partners, and industry partners. This space also welcomes collaborations that are not sector partnerships.
- What: Focus on strategies that are working to solve industry-identified challenges. This space is intended to hear directly from healthcare industry leaders.

- Manufacturing Sector Community of Practice
- Who: Colorado’s five active advanced manufacturing sector partnerships spread across economic development regions 1, 2, 3, 10, and are exploring manufacturing sector partnerships. This space is inclusive of conveners, supporting public partners, and industry partners.
- What: Focus on strategies that are working to solve industry-identified challenges. This space is intended to hear directly from manufacturing industry leaders.

- Who: Conveners of active and exploring sector partnerships.
