Ten Organizations Awarded Upskilling, Reskilling, and Next-skilling Workers Grants

Oct. 21, 2021 - The CWDC is pleased to announce the grantees for the HB21-1264 Upskilling, Reskilling, and Next-skilling Workers Grant (RUN grant). HB21-1264 was signed by Governor Polis in June to create stimulus investments to facilitate training for unemployed and underemployed workers in Colorado during times of substantial unemployment. 
 
Through this round of the RUN grant program, funding was made available through a competitive application process to eligible entities that have a partnership with local workforce centers. The funding intends to help these organizations support up to 1,200 individuals in earning an industry-recognized credential. A total of 10 grants were awarded ranging from $56,447 to $375,000.
