Thriving Work-based Learning Communities Grant

May 19, 2020 - The Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) has opened a grant opportunity for communities across Colorado committed to advancing work-based learning strategies. There is up to $200,000 of funding available and the maximum award size per recipient is $75,000. Interested communities should apply at cwdccommunitysupport.com by May 28, 2020.

The CWDC’s investment in capacity building through targeted funding is intended to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to support, scale, and impact work-based learning in communities throughout Colorado. This grant is designed specifically to support: 

  • Building the skills and confidence of individuals and groups. 
  • Enhancing community decision making and problem solving processes. 
  • Creating a common vision for the future. 
  • Implementing practical strategies for creating change.
  • Promoting inclusion and justice. 

This grant is also designed to incentivize equitable solutions, industry-supported and data-driven decision making, and innovation.
