Oct. 20, 2020 - The CWDC is excited to announce the October release of the Talent Development Playbook: Partnering for Success. This section focuses on creating strong partnerships to support talent success for businesses, including partnering at a shared table through sector partnerships and opening doors to training and talent with education and workforce partners.

In Colorado, sector partnerships provide a shared table for coordinated strategies aligned with industry demand. These regional, public-private partnerships bring business leaders together within a specific industry to collaborate with public partners in education, economic development, workforce, and community organizations.

Secondary and postsecondary schools also provide a unique opportunity for businesses to identify and grow their own talent. Both secondary and postsecondary schools offer a variety of programs to expose students to career opportunities, allow them to gain relevant experience through work-based learning opportunities, and earn certifications and credentials that can signal to your business that they have what it takes to be successful in your company.

The Talent Development Playbook: Partnering for Success goes into more detail on:

  • Partnering at a shared table through sector partnerships
  • Opening doors to training and talent with education and workforce partners
  • Case studies and business benefits for Colorado communities
