Sept. 22, 2020 - The CWDC is excited to announce the September release of the Talent Development Playbook: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, which focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and how intentional implementation of these strategies benefits both businesses and workers.

Employers who adopt an equity lens within their organization strengthen their companies and create a more inclusive environment for workers. By recruiting, retaining, and promoting under-tapped talent, businesses embrace not only a greater range of experiences among their employees -- leading to more sound and innovative decision making -- but they broaden their customer base and can better leverage their business image across markets.

People have historically been the cornerstone of American economic success. Creating systems and structures that center around people and focus through an equity lens is fundamental to competitiveness, good business, and social justice.

The Talent Development Playbook: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion includes information on:

  • Data-driven decision making
  • Digital inclusion
  • Targeted recruitment for management positions
  • Tools to strengthen current diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies
  • Examples of how employers are setting intentional, inclusive, and sustained strategy to increase diversity, address inequities, and sharpen their competitive edge
