July 23, 9 - 10 a.m. -- Equity in Retail
During the Day 1 keynote, Dr. Nita Mosby-Tyler from The Equity Project will deconstruct the meaning of equity, inclusivity, and diversity. Participants will shift from learning and exploring to doing, helping frame discussion about equitable recovery for businesses and frontline workers. She will identify actions attendees can take to help eliminate disparities, resulting in both a competitive advantage for business and a moral imperative for frontline workers. 

July 24, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. -- Business Reinvention: The New Normal for America’s Independent Businesses
The Day 2 keynote will feature Jon Schallert of The Schallert Group. A consultant and professional speaker, Schallert teaches businesses and communities about his “Destination Business” strategy which examines how a business elevates its unique qualities to help attract more customers. His session will highlight lessons in business reinvention from owners who successfully embrace change.
