July 19, 2022 - Online training is now available for the Career Ladder Identifier and Financial Forecaster (CLIFF) tools. Workforce center staff members and others who provide career counseling are encouraged to learn how CLIFF can be used as a strategy for assisting the workforce.

CLIFF helps users understand how changes in employment (like a promotion or a new, higher-paying job) will affect their access to benefits, based on where they live, their income, and their family situation. The tools helps people advance their careers by providing information about:

  • How changes in their employment may affect the public assistance they receive
  • How workforce strategies can help workers cope with public assistance loss as they advance
  • In-demand career pathways that lead to quality jobs and that can compensate for a loss of public assistance

Follow this link to access free online courses that will prepare you to help your clients use the CLIFF Dashboard and CLIFF Planner. To begin learning, you will be asked to create a user account by providing your name, organization, and state.

The Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) and the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and Kansas City have partnered to launch CLIFF to help Coloradans make informed decisions about their careers. Learn more.
