July 1, 2021 - The CWDC and partners from across the TalentFOUND network collaborated to produce a new resource, Braiding and Blending: An Overview of Innovative Practices and Approaches to Funding, which provides an introduction to braiding and blending funding to support workforce development efforts in Colorado. Thank you to all of the partners who contributed and helped make this resource possible.

With an eye on stabilizing and accelerating Colorado’s economy, and as stimulus funding becomes available, the resource spotlights how leveraging multiple funding streams can maximize resources, increase impact, and help with long term sustainability of work taking place in a community. View the Braiding and Blending resource.

The CWDC is hosting a webinar on July 22 at 3 p.m. that will highlight strategies from the resource and spur conversations and ideas within communities and across partners to consider how funds can be leveraged to make the greatest impacts. Local Colorado communities will join the webinar to discuss their innovative funding approaches, the culture that fostered success, and the actions they took to support greater efficiency, capacity, and impact. Register for the webinar.
