Helping job seekers gain expertise in Early Childhood Education, Construction, Emergency Services, IT, and Medical Administration
The Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is excited to announce that it has awarded $503,538 to four non-profit organizations dedicated to workforce development:
- Montessori Intergenerational Learning Communities;
- Vail Valley Works;
- Trendlines Colorado; and
- Goodwill of Colorado.
Grantees will assist Coloradans in gaining expertise and finding jobs in critical sectors such as Information Technology (IT), Early Childhood Education, Construction Trades, Emergency Services, and Medical Administration.
This grant, funded by Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) will help these non-profit organizations implement training programs that are focused on providing individuals throughout Colorado essential skills and secure employment in high-demand industries.
